Twin Dragonsby ~Tim-Wilko

Kennin-ji is a Zen-temple located at the end of Hanami Lane near Gion, Kyoto. It was founded in 1202 and claims to be the oldest Zen temple in Kyoto.

This roof painting by Koizumi Junsaku was installed in 2002 to commemorate the 800-year anniversary of the temple's founding. It measures 11.4m by 15.7m and took almost 2 years to complete.

Excellent shot Tim. You don't know how many times I've tried to get a shot lie this and they all turned out noisy and unusable even with processing. I'm glad someone got this shot. The dragon scenes are always fantastic!
