By sheer luck I happened to be in Matsumoto at the start of the week long Evening Cherry Blossom Festival (夜桜会). I thought I would be far too early for cherry blossom but I hit it right in full-bloom.

The illuminated room on the left is the "moon viewing wing". During the festival traditional Japanese musicians perform inside. This evening it was raining so they didn't have much of an audience. I enjoyed it though!

I have always wanted to go to Japan<3 One day I have a plan of going there, I think Japan is so beautiful<3 Nice work!

I looked up how much it would cost to just be there for a couple months, and he said over $9000! I thought that was crazy....but maybe he's wrong, Idk I have to try

The flight could cost up to $1000, but $4000 dollars a month on living expenses!? I wouldn't be able to live here if that was true. I'd say $3000 dollars max, but you can do it for less if you budget and know where to eat. Couch surfing helps too.
